Advocate

Built for the appointments nobody prepares you for.

Years of labs, symptoms, medications, genetics, and family history — finally in one place, finally organized, finally ready to hand to someone who needs to understand the full picture.

Why this exists

"Every new doctor looked at the most recent results and started over. Nobody ever looked at the whole picture."

My sister had lupus, Sjögren's, scleroderma, and pulmonary fibrosis. The fibrosis killed her. My brother has Addison's, Type 1 diabetes, hypothyroidism — at 40, a foot sore led to amputation, then a stroke, then partial paralysis. I grew up watching autoimmune disease take everything from the people I loved.

Then my symptoms started. Joint pain, fatigue, a positive ANA. I spent years seeing doctors who told me I was imagining it. One suggested manic depression. Another walked out and told her assistant to "get rid of me." Eventually someone actually looked at everything — the trends, the family history, the full picture — and finally gave me a diagnosis.

Six months later, he retired. The new doctor looked at my current labs, said they were normal, and concluded there was nothing wrong. Starting over. Again.

I built Advocate because I was tired of it. Tired of starting over. Tired of handing doctors a pile of records they'd glance at and ignore. Tired of knowing more about my own situation than anyone treating me — and still not being able to make them see it.

If that sounds familiar, this is for you.

— Jeff Bright, Founder

What it actually does

The tool your doctor wishes you walked in with.

Your labs across time

Import from any lab, any date, going back as far as you have records. Finds trends within normal ranges — the kind that only show up when you look at years of data together.

AI pattern analysis

Connects your labs, symptoms, medications, genetics, and family history. Finds what gets lost when every doctor only sees a snapshot. Tells you what to ask about.

Family history and genetics

Imports Promethease and 23andMe data. Connects genetic risk to what's actually showing up in your labs. The kind of context that changes the conversation.

Two-page appointment report

One plain-language page for you. One clinical reference for your provider. You walk in knowing what to say. They get the full picture without you having to explain everything from scratch.

How it works

1

Add your history

Upload lab PDFs or enter results manually — even old ones. Log symptoms with the dates they actually happened. Add your medications, family history, and genetic data if you have it.

2

Let the AI look at everything

Advocate's analysis reviews your full history together — not just today's labs, but everything across years. It finds the patterns and connections that get missed when each doctor only sees a piece of it.

3

Walk in prepared

Export a two-page PDF before your appointment. One page explains what was found in plain language. The other gives your provider a clinical summary they can actually use — without you having to explain years of history in 15 minutes.

Your data doesn't go anywhere.

I didn't want to build something that stored your health records on a server. Everything Advocate keeps — labs, symptoms, medications, genetics, family history — lives in a local database on your computer. I don't have access to it. Nobody does except you.

When you run an analysis, Advocate strips out everything identifying before anything leaves your machine. The AI sees anonymized clinical values — lab numbers, symptom patterns, genetic summaries. Not your name. Not your date of birth. Not anything that could connect it back to you.

Advocate is desktop-first because that's the only way to actually keep this promise. Mobile is coming — but I'm not going to get there by putting your data in the cloud first and figuring out privacy later.

Free. No account. No catch.

Download it, add your history, run the analysis. If it helps — tell me. If it doesn't — tell me that too.
